Works Cited Format What is needed: In inserting works cited: Double spaced 1” Margins Name and Page Number in the upper right header. Works cited title without quotes or italics. In inserting works cited: Works in alphabetical order according to author. If it is longer than a line, the second and continuing lines need to be indented (the hanging indent)

Citing a Book The basic format of a book requires the author’s name/names, book title, publication date, publisher, place of publication. Good Example: Gleick, James. Chaos: Making a New Science. Citing a Website Citing an entire website (MLA): Editor, author, or compiler name (if available). Name of Site. Version number. Citing from a website (MLA): For an individual page on a Web site, list the author if known, followed by the information above for entire Web sites.
