“Song of the Dove”and Dialogue 7

Song of the Dove The world is a lovely place with beauty everywhere. The world is a place beyond compare. Where roses and daffodils are blooming all around. Where kindness and compassion can be found. Life up here is pleasant with the branches and the trees, but the world out there has beauties far lovlier than these. The world is a lovely place with beauty everywhere. The world is a place beyond compare. Go out there.

Dialogue 7 Marty: Wow. I wouldn’t mind living in a place like that. Sam: Me neither, but now I’m getting confused. How can the world be cuckoo, scary, fine and beautiful all at the same time? Cooper: Someone’s not telling us the truth! Kirby: But who do we believe? Marty: Hey! Look at that! Wendell: Hey, baby, what’s happenin’? I’m Wendell Woodpecker. Kirby: Hi, Wendell. Say, what happened to your beak? Wendell: That’s kind of embarrassing. The other day, I drilled into a metal pole. You’d think I’d know wood from metal by now-at least “heavy metal”. Ha! Get it? “Heavy Metal!” Marty: Wow, that must really hurt! Wendell: I just have to be careful not to sneeze. Now that’s painful! Cooper: We want to know what life is like outside of this nest. Have you ever been..out there? Wendell: Sure, lots of times! And you know what? It’s an awesome place to be! Sam: Really? We heard it was full of giants! Wendell: Giants? Well, yeah, things are pretty big out there. But we birds can usually escape danger if we need to. Marty: Danger? Nope, that settles it. I wanna stay up here with Momma! Wendell: Whoa! Hold on there, squirt. Don’t cha know it ain’t cool up here with you mom tellin’ ya what to do? Out there, you are your own boss. Sleep when you wanna sleep, eat when you wanna eat. Stay up and watch TV as late as you please!
