What is the Socialization Process? The general process of acquiring culture is referred to as socialization.

Social interaction Social interactions are the acts, actions, or practices of two or more people mutually oriented towards each other so as to affect or take account of each other's subjective experiences or intentions.

Types of Social interactions Social interactions can be differentiated into: Accidental (also known as social contact) - not planned and likely not repeated. Repeated - not planned, bound to happen from time to time. Regular - not planned, but very common, likely to raise questions when missed. Regulated - planned and regulated by customs or law.

Interaction of socialization process Early childhood period is very crucial for socialization. Socialization process if done well with children will contribute to Less dropout of school Less emotional or behavioral problems like committing suicide or falling victim to child abuse or neglect.

Contributions to society and Nation Socialization is a process that is beneficial not only to the family but plays a very major role in the development of the society and Nation .
