All The Things You Need To Know(about the group) A trio consisting of musicians from the UMW department of music, The Kerns features Ben Jones. Ben is a talented and energetic(if not somewhat quirky) young musician involved with a Capella group “Symphonics” and is capable of playing multiple instruments. He performs the vocals for this project.

All The Things You Need To Know(about the group) Sidney McPhail is a classically trained pianist who’s always excited to perform for people. A freshman at UMW, she has already been involved with different performance groups and recording projects and delivers a well-executed piano performance here.

All The Things You Need To Know(about the group) Levi Manuel is a junior at UMW who is always ready to play music with others. He plays multiple instruments including bass guitar and drums as well as the violin. Levi brings an energetic but steady bassline to the project which helps drive the tune.

All The Reasons You’d Like to Sign this group With the song being a widely known jazz standard performed by so many different musicians over the years, the only possible way to make this rendition of the piece unique is to pay homage while still letting the musicians’ individual personalities come through on the recording.
