Angles Using Angles to draw boxes Objective: You will compare your drawing in the beginning and end of class in order to evaluate what you learned to draw boxes using angles. DRILL: Title page: ANGLES Page layout is on next slide. (You can use 2 pages…) Attempt to draw the boxes at your table before the demo. (top corner) What is the tip for how to draw boxes with angles?

Reminders: Only 10 spots left on DC trip! It will probably fill up today or tomorrow. Get your slips turned in asap and $16. Homework is due Friday. Late -5pts. Do the front now. You may want to wait until Thursday night to shade the still life objects on the back. Use the lessons that we have done to help you.

Boxes Use your pencil to show you your angle. Hold your arm out all the way with your pencil in your hand. Imitate the angle with your pencil. Bring the angle down to your paper without changing it.

Assignments to work on: Finish stack of boxes. (today) Continuous contour line drawing of 3 or more objects. Fill in at least 10 spaces. (20 pt artwork grade) Negative space flower. Outline and fill negative space with shading, words, color, paint, etc… (10 pt artwork grade) Artwork grades are bigger and weigh more. 30% of grade, only 4 so far and still life.
