Happy to announce early release! We are happy to announce an early release of HP ElectroInk Fluorescent Pink for HP Indigo 7000 Series Digital Presses. The ink is planned to be WW released to all customers in mid-Aug 2015, with HP Indigo 7000 series SW upgrade (11.4) In current stage, and till the WW release, we will allow only several selected customers to use the ink, in an early release mode

Creating high-value pages A great alternative to offset Fluorescent ink, with lower cost for short runs, fast turnaround time and personalized applications Expanded variety of creative designs & new applications – the new ink would upgrade the look & feel of greeting cards, fashion applications, posters, publishing, book covers, specialty products and more

Due to its fluorescence, the ink glows under UV light

Prerequisites for the early release: Prerequisite for installing the ink is SW V11.2.i18 (should already be updated for Indigo 7800). Upgrade installation, if required, is straightforward with no need for CE on site, and is done FOC in coordination with GBU WWTS (Nitzan Shaham). Note that in the WW release (mid Aug ’15), the SW ver would be 11.4 A dedicated plug in for the ink file would be required and that would be provided through radar by GBU WWTS Customer should follow the How-to-guide – attached draft version for the early release period
