Traditions In Germany people start decorating on December 5th. They also set aside special things and bake cakes and cookies. Children leave letters in the windowsill for Christkind, an angel like person that wears white robes and a crown.

Decorations The people in Germany have lots of Christmas trees. Some houses even put up more than one Christmas tree! The people also put up holly wreaths that have 4 red candles in the center and every Sunday they light one candle until it is Christmas on the 25th .

Clothing Boys in Germany dress like kings in white robes and carry a star around a village and sing carols. Girls wore robes or long dresses and wore their hair in buns.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
