What is Systematic Theology? Systematic: study by subject Theology The study of or about God It tries to answer : WHAT do we believe? Systematic theology is the study of God by subject It attempts to understand all of scriptures teaching in regard to a particular subject or theme. Examples: faith., Salvation, and etc.

Three ethical uses of Systematic Theology I) It tries to answer ethical questions based on what we believe. Ex: same sex marriage, abortion II) It provides ethical guidance on how believers should live. III) It informs our ethical conclusion or stand

SYTHEMATIC THEOLOGY Golden Truth “Scripture is the primary and only authoritative Source in Biblical interpretation.”

Scripture It is God’s spoken, written, and inspired truth or self-revelation. Prove That Jesus is God Inductive Reasoning Deductive There is One God The Father is God Jesus claims that He and His Father are ONE Deductive If The Father is God and equal in oneness (attribute/characters/NOT personhood) with the Son; therefore, the Son must be God. Jesus embodies all the godly attributes of the Godhead bodily. He is God final(complete/fullness) physical revelation. To know Jesus is to know the Father. The kingdom of God manifests on earth when Christ is alive in us as doers of His commandments. The richness of the Kingdom of God becomes vulnerable to be enjoyed by repentance sinners because we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus . (Ephesians1:3)
