The ʻIke Wai Science Gateway Gwen Jacobs Director of Cyberinfrastructure gwenj@hawaii.edu

What is a Science Gateway? A web portal that allows science and engineering communities to access shared data, software, workflows, computing and dissemination resources – specific to a discipline or project.

We are building a science gateway for ‘Ike Wai Store and manage research data Programmatic access of agency databases Support data analytics and computational workflows on local and national HPC resources Run existing and new models Link data to visualization tools – Jason Leigh Disseminate data products EPSCoR Track I ‘IKE WAI: Securing Hawaiiʻs Water Future

Whatʻs under the hood?

What can users do now? Storage (Staging and Published) Upload, Download, Copy, Move, Create Folders Annotation & Basic Search Tag, Associate Metadata Objects (Sample, Site etc), Find Data Computation Run Application On The UH HPC , Track Jobs & Data Generated
