OSEP Pilot Program - Fiji Initial discussions started in 2010 between RCCCE and FHF Program was finalized in early 2011 5 courses were planned for the Central (3) & Western (2) parts of Fiji The Courses were funded partially through Olympic Solidarity and the Fiji Hockey Federation.

Central/Eastern A total of 3 Courses were held in Suva A total of 31 Inclusive of youth, teachers, coaches & athletes

Western Programs 2 programs held in Lautoka The first program included coaches & administrators (7) The second program were mostly teachers and Youth coaches (16 participants)

Why was the Program successful? Fiji Hockey had a succession plan in place to ensure there was continuity from the CC Program to the Oceania Level 1 Support from some of the most senior hockey administrators who attended the course Mandate from FHF that all National Coaches must complete the CC Program

Why was the Program Successful? Prior planning with Oceania Hockey Involvement of Primary & Secondary School Teachers Mentoring
