No Bullying Allowed! Grades K-2

What is bullying? It is when someone purposely and repeatedly hurts someone else’s… BODY FEELINGS THINGS Bullying is unfair and one-sided! No Bullying Allowed!

Three Kinds of Bullying Physical -hitting, poking, kicking, shoving, touching when asked to stop Verbal -teasing, calling names, writing mean things, making threats, leaving someone out on purpose to hurt them, telling others who they can or can’t play with Property -taking your things without your permission, destroying something special on purpose to hurt you No Bullying Allowed!

What can we do about bullying? If bullying behavior is happening to you… Ignore the behavior and walk away; or Stand tall, look at the person in the eye, and calmly tell them to stop. THEN WALK AWAY. Stay with other kids and play close to an adult. Treat everyone with respect. Get help from an adult if it doesn’t stop. No Bullying Allowed!

What can we do about bullying? If you see bullying behavior… Speak up and calmly say, "That's bullying behavior. We don’t bully at our school.” Don’t watch, laugh, or join in. Help the person who is being bullied to walk away. Get help from an adult if it doesn’t stop. No Bullying Allowed!

What can we do about bullying? If you use bullying behavior, STOP! Instead… Express your feelings without being mean or using hurtful behavior. Remember that everyone has the right to be themselves, to choose their own friends, and to feel safe at school. No Bullying Allowed!

Reporting Versus Tattling Reporting is when you tell an adult about unsafe behavior to keep someone from getting hurt. Tattling is when you try to get someone in trouble. Report unsafe behavior immediately! No Bullying Allowed!

Bullying Behavior… It’s NOT Okay! It affects us all. You can make a difference!
