Program Objectives Orient and train Provide employment experience Develop and practice job expectations Learn teamwork and leadership skills Assist with individual personal development Stay in school with a minimum 2.0 GPA

SER Year-Round Jobs Program Program is currently funded for FY 10/11 SER provides job placement, development support and guidance to “at risk” youth ages 16 - 19 3 youth participate in the year-round program 15th year in Las Cruces Participants work in the Parks and Recreation Section

SER Youth at Risk Eight-Week Summer Jobs Program SER provides job placement, development support and guidance to “at risk” youth ages 14 - 18 31 youth participate in the 8-week Summer program (4wks June, 4wks July) 18th year in Las Cruces Participants work in various city departments/sections

Council Options Vote Yes and approve the contract Amend the Resolution and reduce/increase the service level Vote no and not approve, eliminating the program
