Algorithmic Packaging Algorithmic packaging is an additional layer of rules added to the packaging process for a fund code. There are many places in banner that algorithms are can be used, but this presentation will focus on the use of RPEPCKG. Algorithms allow for more flexibility than simply determining a basic yes or no answer for a student in regard to a specific fund code. Algorithms allow you to package varying dollar amounts based on any factors in banner that you can code. Algorithmic Packaging Aid Period Example Explanation: Each of our fund codes have varying amounts that are determined by the aid period that the student is put in. Students can be put in the aid period that reflects their enrollment and then awarded the proper dollar amounts to be broken up between these terms.
