Recruitment: additional candidates If a search has identified at least one female or underrepresented minority candidate, funding is available for adding an additional female or minority candidate to the interview list. Additional candidates must come from “long list” generated by the search committee. See procedures for details.

Teaching release for departments with faculty on family leave When faculty members are on leave for childbearing or active service modified duties, departments may receive teaching replacement funds. Up to 2 quarters for childbearing faculty, 1 quarter for childrearing/adoption. Funding is at the rate of one-ninth of an Assistant Professor, Step III (academic year basis) salary.
