Triangles and Art Maggie K.

Other Cultures using Triangles in Art Muslims display geometric art such as tile designs and painting in their Mosques. Central and Eastern African Tribes use triangles on their masks. In Leonardo Da Vinci’s famous sketch “Vitruvian Man” one of the sets of legs creates an equilateral triangle.

Modern Art and Triangles Triangles are major parts in computer animation. John Kingsley’s “Golden Triangle” features a large triangle in the center. Mario Hugo, a artist/ designer, uses triangles in his work as well.

More Triangles in Modern Art Triangles and other geometrical figures are used in modern art to create depth. The shapes that seem to be used the most are squares and triangles.
