Lesson 2 WALT: recognise our body signs and link these to feelings WILF: I can explain what body signs match the feeling I am having

Form 4 groups and discuss each feeling What makes me happy? What body signs tell me I’m happy? How do others see when I’m happy? What makes me angry? What body signs tell me I’m angry? How do others see when I’m angry? What makes me sad? What body signs tell me I’m sad? How do others see when I’m sad? What makes me worried? What body signs tell me I’m worried? Body signs are important Knowing our body signs helps us recognise our feelings Our thoughts and feelings often make us behave in certain ways Recognising our feelings can help us make good choices about what we do If our body tells us we are feeling angry, stop and make a good choice about what to do If our body tells us that we are happy, do more of whatever makes us happy.

Next Lesson will focus on…. Riley- A new school What body signs did Riley show? What did other characters notice? What feelings do we see Riley having?
