Examination Guidelines Ta’limi Board (KZN) Examination Guidelines

Encourage pupils to come early on the day of the oral examinations at least by 2:30pm All examinations on Saturdays will commence at 08h45. Pupils must come Islamically dressed with all the relevant kitaabs Encourage all baaligh girls to wear purdah and attend madrasah, especially for the oral examination.

Ensure that all the pupils have completed the Syllabus in Surahs, Duas & Hadith for the exams Prepare a revision programme for the pupils, Ask the parents to assist the pupils in the revision. Update the Blue Progress Cards by the 20th MARCH 2013

List the names of the pupils in the mark sheets prior to the exams in alphabetical order. Those girls who are in their menses should be indicated with a star (*) on the mark sheet. Pupils who are absent for the exams will not be given any mark. Write absent in the mark column of the report

This form must be sent to the office for record keeping. The marks for the Quraan, Surahs, Duas, Hadith and the written papers must be entered into the Yellow Marksheet Please triple check to see that all additions, totals, percentages and averages are correctly calculated. The class Mu’allim/ahs are responsible for correct calculations. This form must be sent to the office for record keeping.

Pre School / Grade Zero There will be no external examination for pre-school pupils. An assessment of the pre-school pupils will be conducted by Supervisor, Principal or any Senior Muallim/ah. The appropriate symbols will be given.
