SPIRITUALITY IN THE HOME PARENTS MUST… I. BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED (Deut. 6:6). A. Not Just Knowledge. (2 Tim. 3:1, 5, 7; 1 Cor. 8:1) B. What Displays A Worldy Mind? (Rom. 8:5-8; Gal. 5:17f) Early to sporting event, late to worship services… Spend $$$ on luxuries, give little to the Lord… “Shush” while watch T.V., pass notes in services… C. We Cannot Impart What We Do Not Have!

SPIRITUALITY IN THE HOME PARENTS MUST… II. TRAIN YOUR CHILDREN (Deut. 6:7-9). A. Bible Class No Substitute For Parents! (Eph. 6:4; Prov. 29:15, 17; 31:26-28) B. Study At Home. Pray with & about them (Phil. 1:3-4). Talk with them (Gal. 5:19-23; Prov. 1:10f; 7:1f; 23:29f). C. What Goals Do These Emphasize? Lewd Posters Immodest Clothing Immoral Entertainment Toleration of Disobedience & Disrespect Defend their Sins. Do not expect spiritual children, if you neglect spiritual goals!
