Major Issues One major issue within hospitals is infections. Infections can cause damage and/or death if utensils are poorly cleaned or not cleaned at all When nurses use utensils on a patient how do they know they are cleaned?

My Experience My grandmother was on dialysis and went into the hospital for surgery. Somehow the utensils were not cleaned and she got infected. My grandmother, an innocent and helpless patient, went to a hospital for a minor surgery and died because the utensils were not cleaned. I never knew or was told how and why those instruments were not cleaned.

Current Machinery utensils are cleaned by a machine called the autoclave and it is possible for it to leave behind skin, blood, or DNA. Then the autoclave is supposed to scrub the dirt and blood from the deep crevices of the instruments. If environmental services are still using string mops, upright vacuum cleaners, and wet rags to complete daily tasks, how do we know they have the right equipment to clean hospital utensils?

Children are the future and society should want to help guarantee as much safety as possible . How can people not want to invest in better machinery for better conditions with the lives of the children at stake?

Hospital?...NO….. People should not have to worry about death when going into a hospital for help, especially the children Putting these ultraviolet emitting robots in children wings would help increase the life spans of children.
