What training is available to new staff? Everyone attends two days of induction training : - Welcome to the beating hart of fun (New Staff) - Welcome back to the beating hart of fun (Returning Staff) All staff must attend two days training about the Resort. RC

Training and Development All staff complete a Personal Development Plan (PDP). December/January: End Year Review Performance evaluations and ratings input (employee completes the competencies section and submits to line manager) Line Manager and employee meet to discuss feedback on performance Objectives final review and scoring Development opportunities follow-up: how have these improved performance? June/July: Mid Year Review Performance review and discussion; actions for development mapped out Mid Year Objectives review + amend if role has changed Development opportunities discussed (courses, workshops, etc.) January/February: Objectives Meeting Objectives section to be completed by employee Completed objectives to be sent to line manager Objectives reviewed and finalized with line manager Career Discussion and Development Plan to be discussed and mapped out for the year. Setting Objectives All objectives must be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time- bound What types of objectives must be included? 1 Finance objective 1 People objective 1 KPI objective The PDP is used to set objectives. There must be at least three: 1 Finance objective 1 People objective 1 KPI objective (Key Performance Indicator)
