Fun Run! 11/28/16-12/2/16 What have we DATES TO been up to? REMEMBER: MATH: Students will solve one-step and two-step problems involving multiplication and division within 100 using strategies based on pictorial models, area models, and equal groups. SCIENCE: explore and record how soils are formed by weathering of rock and the decomposition of plant and animal remains. READING Students will learn to identify ‘Cause and Effect’ within text. LANGUAGE ARTS Students will learn how to identify and use antonyms. We will also learn the 3 main verb tenses and how to use them in speech and writing; recognize verb tense in reading. DATES TO REMEMBER: 12/12- Dress like a Pirate Day! 12/8- Fun Run 12/15- Holiday Party 12/16- Polar Express Day and Early Dismissal Investigating different types of soil Fun Run!
