Dextran sulfate sodium salt - CAS Dextran sulfate sodium Dextran sulfate sodium is a long chain polymer of sulfated glucose, containing % sulfur. Has been used as an anticoagulant and has been shown to inhibit the binding of HIV- 1 to CD4+ T lymphocytes. Used to accelerate hybridization of DNA probes to immobilized nucleic acids.
