My Conference by your name

Reading Fluency What is Oral Reading Fluency? Oral reading fluency (ORF) is how quickly, correctly, and smoothly a student reads aloud and is one of the best measures of reading comprehension. ORF Benchmark (in wpm): Fall Winter Spring 2nd grade 44 68 90 wpm My ORF was _______wpm for the Sept. testing session. My ORF was _______wpm for the Jan. testing session.

Reading Comprehension Self-Assessment Always Usually Need to do more I choose “just right” books to read. Need to do more I read for at least 20 minutes each day. I make predictions before reading. I read words with 2 or more syllables. I read with accuracy and expression. I can identify prefixes and suffixes.

Writing I chose this writing because I like to go camping. It is my favorite.

I can explain this math problem.

My second grade goal is to achieve 100 percent on my spelling test and 100 AR points. I will read chapter books. I will take AR tests. I will study spelling words every night. I will do my spelling homework every day.

Goals for Success My strengths are: I can read with expression. I need to work on: my study habits.
