Remote Storage in Alma

Usually ticked for Dematic like storages Priority Compared to other - when a request is placed and there are available storage items in different storage, this can be used to prioritize Integration Profile – Will there be a separate system for managing the request, or will there be Alma operators at the storage Transit scheme – what pickup location should Alma communicate to the storage, the requested one or the library of the item

Locations Locations are linked to the storages Multiple locations from separate libraries may all be linked to the same storage Items at the storage are regular library items. It is only their location’s ‘Remote Storage’ attribute that marks them as storage items All Fulfillment aspects (TOUs, Fus,desks etc.) are no different than in library items
