Enhancing Education Quality 2) What is being done to achieve targets? Established National Quality Assurance Unit in 2005 to develop National Std/Indicators for every aspects of Education, Evaluation survey done by 2005. Identify 5 characters of accomplished teacher in the context of Sri Lanka and initiate of developing Teacher Development Framework.

Challengers 1) Develop standards / indicators for other aspects of education. (MoE, Province, Zones, NIE, Department of Examination, Institute of Teacher Education, Institutional, human resources) 2) Develop Teacher Development Framework.

Recommendation 1) External exposure for developing students and practice of Quality Assurance Technical assistance. Provide experts. Assist to develop standards. Supply equipment. Develop Teacher Development Frame work. Develop capacity of NQAU eg:- Analyze the data & assist to make policy and practice.
