Lower Key stage 2- Foundation Homework Autumn 2 This half term, our topic is ‘Healthy humans’. We will be learning about how to stay fit and healthy, as well as looking at how athletes and professional sports people live and train. I would like you to produce an information booklet that would be suitable for other children in year 3 and 4, telling them how they could live an active and healthy life style. This could include: Information about what the body needs to be healthy. What the different parts of our bodies need. Daily exercises they could do at home. What types of food they should be eating and in what quantities and proportions. Suggested healthy meals/ recipes You will be learning about all of these elements throughout our topic, but may wish to conduct your own research and read around the topic. Your booklet should be handed in to your class teacher on: 11th December
