Busses MHS at—5:30 am-go directly to the COMMONS for luggage check Bus Inspected by PCSD Mechanics before leaving MHS at—5:30 am-go directly to the COMMONS for luggage check Buses leaving promptly at 6:00-we will not wait for you! You will ride on your assigned bus at all times No Exceptions No Changing Buses Stay in same seats for the entire day!!

Busses Busses are NUT FREE. No nuts/nut butter of any kinds (think candy, too!) No Bulk Foods Packaged food (individually wrapped and contained) No Portable Speakers / Headphones must be used on the bus No Energy Drinks of any make or brand i.e Red Bull, Monster No Glass containers Only plastic with screw caps All “containers” must have original seal i.e. mouthwash (buy trial sizes if needed) Soft Drinks Water

Luggage Check Form - Please take home with you and bring back on the morning of the trip. - We will have additional copies available Thursday Morning. - Luggage will be checked prior to being loaded onto the bus.

Medications All Meds confirmed with nurse Will be carried by student unless you would prefer a chaperone to carry or it is a required teacher carry. First aid kit on hand with: Casey Sanderson

Security High Security at many venues Just like the airport– don’t carry around those items - leave them on the bus Metal Detectors Purses Checked

Security No Outbound Long Distance Calls Restricted by Hotel Security personnel on floor at hotel (closed circuit also on each floor hall and all doors) Curfew will be set by chaperones dependent upon time of arrival at hotel Rooms checked by all Chaperones

On Your Person Spending Money: Approx. $50-$60 to cover lunches & dinner The rest is up to you and what you would like your child to have for spending money Students Need To Bring Cell Phones with the Chargers You cannot count on outlets to be available on bus, come with your phone charged! Any videos brought along, or DVD player videos, must be PG-13 or less

On Your Person Pack an on the bus bag and an under the bus bag!! Dress We will not be back to the hotel until 10-11 pm. Anything students will need during the day—money, phone charger, umbrella, extra socks for wet feet should be in their bag on the bus Students will not have access to their packed, under the bus bag until we get to the hotel that evening Dress Check NYC weather before we go!!!!! Jeans, sneakers – comfortable wear – a lot of walking Light jacket with hood in case of rain Hats are not allowed at some locations Pack a light bag! Wear a watch (unless using your cell)

Safety and Behavior No pictures taken that you wouldn’t want published on the front page of the newspaper the next day When you are walking on the sidewalk in NYC stay away from the curb The main cause of injury in NYC is pedestrian and buses – not a good thing! Head phones to be used on buses and when we are at the hotel only – not outside of buses

Safety and Behavior Do not, under any circumstances, go with a sales person to a “back room” to see merchandise Keep your head up while walking at all times Obey the cross walk signs

Safety and Behavior Never go anywhere alone When the itinerary calls for “lunch on your own” or we have time in the schedule to explore a little. You should never be alone, ever! Do not take a “free” anything Mix tape, Cd watch anything! ***Please talk with your student about safety***

Safety and Behavior Please make sure your student brings their MHS student ID or other photo ID with them Return trip: Parents called when we are an hour away to give heads up as to our arrival time or if we are running late
