Feedback & Stats from The Summit 2014 35,382 industry pledges received to offer apprenticeships, work placements and jobs for young people all over Britain 88.5% are likely to recommend The Summit to a friend or colleague 86% rated the networking opportunities as “Outstanding” or “Very Good” 94.4% rated the overall quality of The Summit as “Outstanding” or “Very Good” The two main reasons for attending The Summit was keeping up-to-date with latest industry developments and networking opportunities The top priority for the Tourism Council was identified as improving skills within the industry and increasing the exposure of the sector and the fantastic opportunities that are available The three most popular sessions rated by delegates were: Mind Your Language More Demanding, More Savvy, More Sensitive Not Talk but Action

Highlights of The Summit 2014 Political highlights included Launch of the Tourism Council BHA has been pressing for years for an industry-led Council with close Ministerial involvement as recognition of the growing importance of our sector to the government and the economy.
