Different types of seeds

Germination of a seed : A seed requires water , soil ,air and sunlight to grow into a baby plant .

Seed dispersal Main article: Seed dispersal Unlike animals, plants are limited in their ability to seek out favorable conditions for life and growth. As a result, plants have evolved many ways to disperse their offspring by dispersing their seeds Seed dispersal is seen most obviously in fruits; however many seeds aid in their own dispersal. Some kinds of seeds are dispersed while still inside a fruit or cone, which later opens or disintegrates to release the seeds. Seed dispersal is through air, water ,birds , insects and human beings .

Dispersal of seeds by water

Dispersal of seeds by air / wind

Dispersal of seeds by birds

dispersal of seeds by insects

Dispersal of seeds by humans
