Introduction to pipe sizing for high rise buildings Lesson No 9 (15 minutes)

Different Combinations Up-feed system with a pressure pump Up-feed system where half the building is directly from the water main and half with a pressure pump. Down-feed system, requiring a booster pump at ground level, a header tank at the top of the building and a pressure pump to feed the top 4 to 8 levels. Note: In these cases more than one ‘Project File’ is required to complete the pipe sizing.
