Right Angles, Acute Angles, Obtuse Angles Damian McBeath’s Angle Aikido Right Angles, Acute Angles, Obtuse Angles

RIGHT ANGLES Angle Aikido Starting position: Raise both hands above your head. Keep your arms straight and join together your palms. First we will be look at RIGHT ANGLES

REMEMBER: Keep your arms straight! 90° : A Right Angle Keep your right arm above your head and lower your left arm until your arms produce a right angle. REMEMBER: Keep your arms straight!

ACUTE ANGLES Angle Aikido Starting position: Raise both hands above your head. Keep your arms straight and join together your palms. Now we will be looking at ACUTE ANGLES

Less than 90° : An Acute Angle Keep your right arm above your head and lower your left arm. Any angle less than a right angle or 90 degrees is known as an acute angle.

OBTUSE ANGLES Angle Aikido Starting position: Raise both hands above your head. Keep your arms straight and join together your palms. Next we will be looking at OBTUSE ANGLES

More than 90° : An Obtuse Angle Keep your right arm above your head and lower your left arm. Any angle greater than a right angle or 90 degrees AND less than 180 degrees is know as an obtuse angle. Less than 180 degrees

REFLEX ANGLES Angle Aikido Starting position: Raise both hands above your head. Keep your arms straight and join together your palms. Finally we will be looking at REFLEX ANGLES

More than 180° : An Reflex Angle Keep your right arm above your head and lower your left arm. Any angle greater than a straight line or 180 degrees is known as an Reflex angle.
