Intermediate Outcomes Advocacy and Support Program for Homeless individuals experiencing the Criminalization of Situational Circumstances and Community Education Offering advocacy based services to individuals experiencing adversity due to homelessness in order to facilitate a means of support and resources to the individual and facilitate effective partnerships with existing legal organizations to expand the scope of these services. Inputs Activities Outputs Short-Term Outcomes Intermediate Outcomes Long-Term Outcomes Grants/ Funding Support and patience from local business (operators/Owners) Organizations/Agencies willing to support and train Staff/ Volunteers and Provide advocacy /support to those working directly with homeless Persons. The National Law Center on Homeless- ness and Poverty The National Coalition for the Homeless Kitsap Continuum of Care Coalition Advocates Volunteers Advocacy/Support to homeless individuals. Build partnerships with Local and National Agencies that advocate against the criminalization of homelessness. Intentional training to the realities of Homelessness and the implications of Criminalization. Intentional training of alternatives to criminalization methods provided by advocates to the Community members/volunteers 5 partnerships Established with collaborating agencies operating at full potential of effectiveness by 1yr 10 professionally trained Advocates available to Provide support to The Local Chronic Homeless and provide Educational training in The community by 1yr Educational training Opportunities specified For business owners And the community Offered monthly. 10 volunteers actively Engaged and increasing Proficiency by 1yr Increase in Homeless individuals Confidence & ability to Approach the legal systems and attempt To resolve legal challenges Increased knowledge, Understanding and Compassion in the Community towards Circumstances. Positive feedback From business owners And community Members regarding Their experiences With the homeless. Increase in volunteer Force and attendance For trainings. Homeless individuals Developing (basic) Self advocating skills In order to navigate Legal systems to Remedy legal Penalties. Community members Collaborating to Increase opportunities For homeless Individuals to be Present in public space Without threat of Criminalization. Volunteers actively Participating in Community action Events pertaining to The dissemination of Knowledge and Alternative strategies to criminalization. Decrease in homeless Individuals experiencing Legal consequence for being Homeless. Homeless individuals Advocating for social Changes of the Criminalization of homelessness Change in the way Homeless Individuals are approached and treated by business Owners/operators Expand public Perspectives and Attitudes towards The homeless Populations.
