Homes in the Polar regions

This is an igloo: it is made from blocks of ice and snow

This is a tent in the arctic: it is made from reindeer skins and the floor is made of branches and animal skin.

This is a wooden home in the arctic: it is made form wood which helps keep in heat.

In the arctic now there is modern home like these….

It is too cold in the Antarctic for people to live permanently… some people do visit the Antarctic can you think who?......

Scientists visit the arctic to do experiments and record finding about the ice.
