The UK Contingent Event
The UK Contingent Big City Experience This will be your opportunity to explore an American City, we are still working through with our travel suppliers as to exactly where each unit will be flying in to but I am very excited to be able to reveal to you all for the first time today that your big city experience will be in either New York City or Washington DC. These are both really exciting US cities with a mixture of US history, famous, political landmarks and experiences that are available. These urban environments will provide a real opportunity for our young people to follow their own agendas and learn many new skills. There will be a range of activities that we will be helping you plan for your units. This will be about encouraging your young people to research and pursue their own interests, plan and navigate through a foreign city. We expect this to be a very exciting and empowering part of the experience for our young people. It is possible that we will need to utilize overnight bus travel whilst we are there. This is a big part of US travel culture as I am sure many of you have experienced with the famous Greyhound coaches and definitely something worth preparing your units for…
