Leviathan Thomas Hobbes “Chapter XIII: Of the Natural Condition of Mankind as Concerning their Felicity and Misery”

What are the three principal causes of quarrel What are the three principal causes of quarrel? Which do you feel is most evident in our culture. Explain. According to Hobbes, what determines a time of war? What analogy does he use to help reinforce this premise? Is our culture more inclined to war or peace? Why? What is life like for industry in a time of war? What is life like for man in a time of war? Does Hobbes’ argument hold up in today’s culture? Think of an example.
