What does Incight do? Incight Mission: Incight Vision: To cause the success of education, employment, networking, and independence for people with disabilities. Incight Vision: The disabled contributing to society, which in turn means they will take less from society.

Kresge Grant Overview Partnerships with Oregon colleges and universities to increase the number with disabilities accessing higher education. Create tools for students, teachers and counselors, including guidebooks, podcasts, curriculum, newsletters, presentation templates and other resources. Expand the S.T.A.R.T. Program to serve school and students across the state of Oregon. Increase capacity of school districts, teachers and counselors by providing training opportunities for each. Introduce and distribute “Getting Ready for Life at College” guide to students with disabilities

Colleges & Partnerships Partnership with colleges and universities to match financial aid funds 1 to1 for students receiving a Incight scholarship. Western Oregon University (and 20 other schools) currently match Incight scholarships. Co-host higher education focused events at colleges (Western Oregon & others) Goal 1: Increase the number of students with disabilities attending college and the amount of scholarship assistance. Goal 2: Increase educational and employment opportunities for college students with disabilities.

What is the College Resource Guide? Three Sections: Getting ready for College, Life in College, and Life after College. Interactive Design: Can be written-in, filled out, and referred back to throughout college. Communicating about Your Disability: Discusses how to request accommodations in college and at work. Financial Planning: How to pay for your education and your new, independent lifestyle. Living Independently: There are many new topics to consider -- finding roommates, getting a job, making friends, communicating with your parents.

Online Tool Shed Connect people with disabilities to resources: Guidebooks, podcasts, videos, curriculum, newsletters and success stories Supply online tools to increase access to higher education Web based & accessible anywhere Log-in access / Subscription Give personal guided support
