Repeater Status VHF – failed suddenly ~2 weeks ago (0 watts) UHF – slowly degrading over several months (2.5 watts) Removed – W7KXB, KF7ZMZ, AA7UA, W7KVI ICOM no longer supports; W7KVI did troubleshooting (90%), ordered parts VHF now operational ($65), ready to install UHF still down ($1 transistor at minimum), 1 broken SMD choke

Committee Reports - EmComm; Zombiefest 5th Saturday Exercise, September 30th, 2017 With both repeaters (VHF 146.660, UHF 443.100) down for repair we will be using 146.660 Simplex frequency for our Net Control channel for the exercise on Saturday the 30th. ?????????????? Please let me know if you plan to participate in the exercise, please send me an email to KE7GOW@Yahoo.com. With all the recent weather events around the world it’s a good time to test all your radios (base, mobile, HT) and differ power sources. Jim N7MU communication support team for Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority said he would like to deploy their new Comm van and stop by Station 46 to give us a tour and to test/operate from our location to check coverage to the Kent repeaters. Time unkwn. We are also encouraged to check in to the Kent repeaters to test our coverage from your QTH. The repeaters are VHF 147.320 MHz +103.5 UHF (4)44.350MHz +103.5 TX/RX and VHF 145.650 Simplex. Ken Higgins, KE7GOW, STAR EC
