Sohyun Park Landscape Architecture sohyun.park@ttu.edu Research Interests: Association of the urban morphology (spatial parameters of the built environment), physical activity, and obesity pattern Health disparity and underserved communities (low-income residents, minorities, etc.) Utility of new technologies (e.g., virtual reality, augmented reality) for obesity prevention and control Understanding outdoor behavioral pattern in obese populations through big data Design interventions (community design) and community engagement for reducing obesity Proposed Collaboration: Open to collaboration across a range of topics involving obesity from applied science to field observation/experimentation research to action-based research and design-led investigation.
