Types of Stress Some types of stress can be good. If you can handle the stress it can actually become a good motivator. This type of stress is called eustress.   However stress is not always helpful. If you cannot control it your confidence will plummet. Once you know you cannot solve a problem. It will cause stress and you will start thinking nothing is going right in your life. This type of stress is called distress

Stress balls actually work Stress balls work for us like a pacifier works for babies. It soothes your brain to an intellectual level. Stress balls keep your mind and body engaged in something which in this case is squeezing a ball. Although it does not have to be a ball or squishy at all.

Effects of Stress Increases blood pressure Leaves you vulnerable to multiple mental and emotional problems Increased chance of heart attack and stroke For some people stress even affects their digestion system Enlarges fat cells People will not feel sleepy Increased cortisol will block your brain making it unable to make new memories Too much stress can increase chance of a baby being born prematurely Reduces brain tissues which help regulate emotions and self-control
