This week at Corpus Well Done Lee. Other Faith’s Week To raise money for Remembrance Sunday and The British Legion, Lee made ‘Salt Dough Poppies’ at home and sold them in school. Other Faith’s Week As part of our work for Other Faiths' Week, Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 participated in dance workshops through the day.  Our visitor, Chantelle, spoke to the children about the celebrations which take place at Diwali and taught them some different dance movements to create their own Bollywood dances.  Parents were invited to watch the performances of each class. Parent/carer comment: Really impressed with the dancing and how well they all seem to pick it up in such a short time.  Well done to all involved. Parent/carer comment: It was amazing!  Thank you for the opportunity to see our kids dancing. Reception Places - 2018. Online Application Drop-In Sessions. The Admissions Team, from Leeds City Council, will be holding 4 Drop-In Sessions in the Main Library at the Compton Centre. Someone will be available at these sessions to help with your online application form required to apply for a Reception Place for September 2018 . Trip to Cineworld for Classes 6, 7, 8,and 9. On Friday, as a wonderful treat for working so hard, children from Classes 6, 7, 8 and 9 had a very enjoyable day at Cineworld. They watched ‘Rock Dog’ and had a fantastic time! More cinema trips to follow! Win a Pudsey Bear or Blush Bear. 16th November Dress Down Day to raise money for Children in Need.
