Mission “Possible” Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”

Philippians 4:10-13, “10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Charlotte Heights Church of Christ strives to be a true, New Testament Church of Christ by following the example of Christ, seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, being faithful in worship, encouraging each member lovingly & harmoniously, and making an IMPACT in the community, on fellow members and to those in need through evangelism, edification, and benevolence.

We IMPACT others through the following qualities:   Involvement – we encourage everyone to be involved through attendance at all worship services or bible studies and supporting church activities through leadership, attendance and inviting others.

Luke 14: 25-27, “25 Now great multitudes went with Him Luke 14: 25-27, “25 Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and said to them, 26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. 27 And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.”

We IMPACT others through the following qualities:   Making a Difference – we inspire each other to be a positive Christian influence on each member, in our jobs or schools and to all those that might not yet know Jesus.

1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 1 Peter 2:12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

We IMPACT others through the following qualities:   Passion for Christ – we have a passion for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for our sins to those in our community and throughout the world.

35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying, 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

We IMPACT others through the following qualities:   Always Improving – we continuously work to improve our congregation and we never stop learning or studying in order to teach others.

II. Peter 1 “5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We IMPACT others through the following qualities:   Christ Focused – we ensure that Christ remains the central focus of our worship services, activities or programs and promote the spirit of Christ in all endeavors.

Philippians 3:12-14 “ Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Heb. 12:1-2 “Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We IMPACT others through the following qualities:   Taking Risks – we are courageous and willing to step out of our comfort zone to lead others to Christ.

Luke 5:4 “When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” Matt. 14:28-29 “And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” 29 So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
