Andy Murray 3.42.40 – 3.44.00 stop on shot of Andy sitting. As you watch this think about how you felt when you collected your trial exam results. Did you feel like Roger or Andy? I’m sure a number of you can identify with how Andy was feeling. But Andy didn’t give up. Just a few weeks later he found himself in the same final against Federer as part of Team GB in the Olympics.

And you probably remember that things turned out very differently the second time. How did he do it? By remaining determined, not giving up and using the support of his family and coaching team. You also have a team here to support you, your teachers along with parents and friends. We’re here to support you so that even if the first attempt with the trials hasn’t gone as well as you’d like, in the real exams you can be like Murray in the Olympic final.

Opportunities to improve your controlled assessment. We are your team! We are doing all we can to support you now that you know what you need to do: Breakfast clubs Revision sessions A* workshops Opportunities to improve your controlled assessment. There are a huge number of extra sessions which you were given a list of in the assembly yesterday which provide extra opportunity to make use of the support available at school. Use it!
