Have you ever traded? “I’ll trade you my chips for your cookie.”

Other Trade Examples My neighbor is a painter. He didn’t have enough money to pay for his boys to play ice hockey, so he offered to paint the ice arena in exchange for free hockey lessons. How does this benefit the neighbor? How does this benefit the ice arena?

Money or Trade A long time ago, people would trade for things they needed and wanted. Now, most people pay money for those things. Read and talk page 17 Complete the activity on page 17 on a piece of paper. Make a T-chart to record your answers.
