Everybody knows that the Statue of Liberty is the classic symbol of New York and it symbolises the freedom of the world. When one shiped with a boat to New York, you had to go there. But you must make a very expensive boat tour to admire it today. The Statue of Liberty was a present by the French to the Americans. The statuary Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi designed it. He worked 21 years on his idea. On the 28 of the October 1886 it was finished and opened after hard work.
