Support from Professionals Fun activities Since the beginning of 2014 young adults with diabetes have been coming together regularly to discuss any relevant issues they may be facing. Support from Professionals Fun activities Key updates and tips for controlling diabetes Awareness of people who share the same interests

Role of the youth champion Working with the research team to organise events Mentoring others who require some advice Advertising events via instagram, whatsapp, calls and texts Discussing what others would want from the group Working with projects involving youth champions

In 2015 we managed many successful events such as: Bowling Go-karting Volunteering Cooking classes Filming at Stratford Circus Producing short movies with Enigma challenge
