9th Grade – E.A. #2 Final Reflection On one sheet of folder paper, write your name, date and period in the upper right corner. Do not write the question, just answer in 5 – 7 sentences. Use DETAILS! Then highlight all the periods in your sentences! (count 5 – 7) QUESTION: Write an honest evaluation of your argument. Describe how you think it was effective (or not). What would you do differently next time to improve your argument? Turn in to class tray when completed! Work on Socratic Seminar Outline if finished early.

9th grade – Socratic Seminar Practice Practice Socratic Seminar Ask questions and answer questions – will not move desks into a circle today. If you need help, you can ask any neighbors next to you or behind you. Tomorrow your co-pilot will be behind you. Make sure you ask at least one question and answer at least one question. Once you ask and answer one question, please wait until you are called again after everyone goes once. Try to use textual evidence from the cartoons to answer your question.

9th grade – Socratic Seminar Practice Looking at these two political cartoons, come up with 2 open ended questions that should help answer this essential question: How has the American attitude toward immigration changed from 1869 to 1990’s?
