Bibliography Formatting MLA and APA format are most popular We use MLA Books, encyclopedias, websites, Magazines are examples of sources to be cited The most important things to note in a bibliography are: Author—if found, Title, Publisher, Date, URL/Web Address—if needed
Book Author’s last name, Author’s first name. Title of Book. Place of publication: publisher, date of publication. Example: Be aware that all punctuations are important! Schwartz, Linda. Article in an Encyclopedia/Magazine Last Name, First Name. “Name of the article,” Name of Encyclopedia/Magazine. place of publication: publisher, date of publication. Example: Be aware that all punctuations are important! If there is no author, then start with the name of the article. Stimpson, Jennifer. “Install Wall Frames.” This Old House.
