Year 11 American west. L.O: To build on exam skills. To complete a mind map on problems of law and order in the West.

The Exam paper. Remember that it is just like the structure of the medicine paper: Question 1 (4 marks ) INFERENCE. Question 2: knowledge question. Where you will be given two things and have to describe or explain the importance of ONE (9 marks) Question 3 or 4 will be one you have a choice over again it will be a knowledge question. 12 marks) Question 5 or 6 comes in two parts A and B YOU SHOULD DO BOTH PARTS of either question 5 or 6. A (9 marks) Part b is the BIG POINT QUESTION where you will be asked for an opinion so you have to USE THE HANDY TECHNIQUE (16 marks)

Which of these is the best answer and why? I can see that the cowboy is on a horse, and that he Looks cold because he has a bandana around his face. I can see a cowboys driving cattle in driving snow, this Suggests that being a cowboy was hard work. I can see Cowboys did not work alone, this suggests that they Would work together on the Long Drive. I can learn that Being a cowboy was not easy as they were exposed To bad weather on the plains.
