Presentation transcript:

Survey analysis This Analysis will be based upon the survey given out to students about their Internet access on Campus and at Home.

Introduction: We sent out an online Survey to Varsity College Students via Facebook to see whether or not they had Internet access on and off their campus to complete their every day tasks, assignments, and general varsity work in order to complete their studies.

Do you have Internet access at your current place of tertiary education? The majority of Students are able to connect to their Internet access at their Varsity Campus, which is very reassuring. However, with 3,70% of students that don’t can be seen as very concerning.

If yes, which device do you use to access your Internet? It can be seen that the majority of Students prefer to use their Laptops, Desktops and Smart phones to access the Internet rather than using their Tablets or other devices.

How do you access the Internet on your device? The most of the Students, we can see that they access the Internet by the use of WIFI.

How reliable is your Internet access? The majority of the Students considered their Internet access as often reliable, which gives a hopeful.

How important is your Internet access in your daily life? It can be considered that some Students felt that it wasn’t important to have any Internet access. Keeping in mind that most of Varsity Colleges work comes from online access (Tasks, Assignments and general work). However, the most of Students do see the necessity to have Internet access.

Conclusion: From what we can see from the results as seen in the Pie Charts above, Internet access is very important to the Students at Varsity College. This can be because most of the Varsities work is found online (Tasks, Activities, Assignments and General work), meaning that they need the Internet to be reliable to help complete their studies. However, their were some students that weren’t able to rely on the Internet access and didn’t see the necessity to have Internet access. This might be because the aren’t able to use the technology making it not seem important to them.
