Install the Template on Your System Open the Herrero template Save As Use the drop down menu and save the presentation as a PowerPoint Template (*.potx). The file will automatically be saved to the correct directory on your computer. Name the File: If you want to use the Herrero template as a template option, you do not have to change the file name If you would like the Herrero template to be your default template, you must name the file: blank.potx Save and close the file/program

Selecting a Template (Method 1) If you saved the Herrero template as an option on your system: Use the File tab and select “New.” Options appear on the right side of the screen. Select “My templates” to locate the Herrero template Once you’ve accessed the file, it will also appear under “Recently used.” Just click to select.

Selecting a Template (Method 2) If you saved the Herrero template as the DEFAULT on your system, it should appear when you open up the software program.
